New, improved version of Emit's control unit, with a flashing LED light that occurs when punching the control. Compatible with all versions of the eCard, but not with emiTags.
ePost forwards punching data via the internal radio, so that by combining ePost with eLink, you can get online split times in orienteering competitions using eCards.
The ePosts are delivered with codes from 31-176, with the exception of 66,68,86,89,98 and 99. In addition, codes can be delivered from 177 to 249. As part of the integrated backup system, the ePosts are equipped with a spike that makes a mark in the backup label. 140 spike positions exist. The backup system makes it possible to manually check if a runner has punched a control. The ePost has a built-in battery with an estimated lifespan of 8-10 years, but it is not recommended to use ePosts that are older than 5 years in championships. The device does not need to be programmed or charged before use.
