Emit Time Station ETS2 L (ight)

ETS2 L(ight) is Emit's new mid-term station for online passes, using the emiTag chip system. ETS2L replaces ETS1 as our official timing station and is a simplified version of ETS2. It has undergone a number of improvements and a very demanding testing regime. ETS2L is in principle similar to ETS2, except for the possibility of connecting a printer. It comes with a built-in 4G modem with a sim card provided by Emit. 1 year subscription is included in the price. This is auto-renewed every year unless the subscription is cancelled.

Chip ID and time are sent from the chips back to the ETS2L via the internal radio antenna. The data is stored locally before being sent to the PC via USB, RS-232, RS-485 and the 4G modem.

ETS2L and emiTag chips can be used for timing and registration of split times in a variety of sports, both for training and competition. As of today, the system is actively used in cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski orienteering, orienteering, cycling (road, pace, off-road, track), running, triathlon, etc.

ETS2L can be used with the internal eLine loop, or the supplied external eLine loop.

NB! The internal eLine loop has a 3 meter range.
