The new emiTag V3 is even faster to stamp with than previous versions. In addition, it comes with a QR code on the back of the tag, which is linked to a personalized page. emiTag V3 has a blue circuit board and a new plastic housing with a blue plug, which is sealed with a special adhesive. All emiTag tags are therefore 100% waterproof.

Specifications:

– New, modern plastic cover, where the top is sealed with special glue which makes the emiTag 100% waterproof.

– New circuit board with improved layout and components

– Powerful LED with orange light, flashes for 5 seconds after punching.

– Velcro strap to fasten the emiTag around the calf included (ski), alternatively you can get an elastic band to fasten the emiTag around the wrist (orienteering/running)

Personal emiTags are used in cross country skiing, biathlon, cycling and ski-orienteering. More than 100,000 emiTags have been sold since the production started in 2006.

Many national confederations in Norway have entered into long-term agreements with Emit to introduce the emiTag system. The Norwegian Ski Federation has imposed a personal emiTag from age 11.

Many local organizers also wants to use timing with emiTag. In such cases, you should be able to use the emiTag you have purchased at no extra cost. If you forget to bring the emiTag, or have not purchased one, it is usually possible to rent one at the event.

The emiTag is not compatible with the eCard.

Full warranty for 2 years, while technical service life in normal use is estimated at 5 years.
