Emits Touch-Free Pro record units are used for orienteering, sprint orienteering, ski orienteering, cycling, as well as fixed installations. Can also be used as a starting unit in cross-country skiing.
The TFP unit sends out a code 0 (START), 100-199 or 90 (FINISH), which is registered by the emiTag chip , when the chip is within a field of approx. 75 cm, for about 1/10 second.
The LED light on the emiTag starts flashing quickly when the code of the TFP control is registered, and when the race is done, all registrations can be read.
The TFP comes with built-in batteries, which are estimated to last at least 5,000 hours / 10 years.
Control codes are provided in the comments.
