ETS mini

Emit's new split time station is particularly suitable for online split times in cross-country skiing, biathlon, orienteering and other sports where emiTag tags are used. ETS mini is built on the same platform as ETS2, with the same firmware and menu system, but we have removed all functions that are not needed for split times. This means ETS mini fits in a much smaller case and weighs only 2.5 kg. Like ETS2, ETS mini registers the time when the emiTag tags pass the external eLine loop, or stamp on TFP/TFT/ePost in orientation. Tag ID and time are sent from the tags back to ETS mini via the internal radio antenna. The data is stored locally before being transferred to our online server via the built-in 4G modem, or via RS-485 if a cable is connected.

ETS mini and emiTag tags are used for timing and registration of passes in a variety of sports, both for training and competition. To date, the system is actively used in cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski orienteering, orienteering, cycling (road, tempo, off-road, track), exercise races, triathlon, etc. ETS mini is particularly suitable for use in orienteering in combination with TFT, TFP or ePost control units.

4G modem is mounted internally in the station with a sim card provided by Emit. 1 year subscription is included in the price. This is auto-renewed every year unless the subscription is canceled. ETS mini has built-in radio and 4G antennas, but it is also possible to connect external antennas if coverage is poor. For this purpose, we recommend using our eDuplo2 antenna.
