Our selftiming pages can be found at selftiming.com. There you can organize simple events and open up for registration to these events. Liveresults from the events are available.

Below we describe the type of equipment you can use on different types of events.

Orientation:

For events with self-timing in orientation, you can use both EKT and Touch-Free in combination with events on selftiming.com. Performers use EKT chips or emiTag and registration is done via selftiming.com.

EKT: EKT mail units are placed as on regular races and trainings. Start unit on start, and EKT record units on records and measurements. Reading with the Emit selftiming Kit, using the USB reading device. Organizers can also connect USB reading device to PC.

Touch-Free: Touch-Free mail units are placed as on regular races and workouts. Start unit on start, and record units on records and measurements. Reading with the Emit selftiming Kit, using ECU as a reading unit. Organizers can also connect ECU to PC for reading.

The times of stretching times are shown live on selftiming.com.

Cross-country skiing:

For cross-country self-timing events, you can use several types of equipment in combination with events on selftiming.com. Practitioners use emiTag and registration is done via selftiming.com. Below some examples.

Simple arrangements with Touch-Free Pro LR (Long Range) at start and finish. At the finish, one must be sufficiently close to TFP LR to get a registration.  Reading is done using the Emit selftiming Kit, with a ECU reading device. Results live on selftiming.com.

Simple arrangements with Touch-Free Pro LR (Long Range) at the start and ETS2 4G or another finish station with loop at the finish. It is also possible to post split times during the event. Finish at full speed with live results instantly on selftiming.com.

Simple arrangement with Fixed loop at start and ETS2 4G or other target station with loop on target. It is also possible to lay out split times at fixed loop or ETS along the way. Finish at full speed with live results instantly on selftiming.com.

Long-term events. It can be, for example, a race that is arranged as a selftiming event. To be sure who has started, one should have a station registered online at the start such as an ETS with loop. Split times along the way can be ETS or fixed loop. If you use the fixed loop, you must have a reading of each piece according to the ecu. Targets should be online with ETS2 4G or other target station with loop. Results and split times live on selftiming.com.
