In 1981 Per Svendsen and Per Aage Stokseth started the company Regnly. The company started with the production of tents for participants and organizers at orienteering events. Regnly also began to develop advanced timing equipment intended for several sports. The company became well known in the market and gained a good reputation. In 1995, the company changed its name to Emit.
From the beginnig in 1981, Stein Edgar Løkken has been responsible for hardware development in the company. Stein Edgar has become a partial retiree but is still the development manager of the company.
We will run a number of campaigns this year and there will be some exciting new launches. First out is emiTag ver.3 which is about 30% faster to punch with in orienteering.
