Emit's new Touch-Free Pro LR (long range) control units are used for bicycle orienteering, downhill racing, as well as fixed installations. Particularly suitable as a starting unit in cross-country skiing, as it has twice as long a range (approx. 150 cm) as a normal TFP controls (approx. 75 cm).
The TFP unit sends out a code 0 (START), 100-199 or 90 (FINISH), which is registered by the emiTag , when the emTag is within a field of approx. 150 cm, for a minimum of one tenth of a second.
The LED light on the emiTag starts flashing quickly when the code of the TFP control is registered, and when the race is done, all registrations can be read.
The TFP comes with built-in batteries, which are intended to last at least 1,500 hours.
Control codes are provided in the comments.
