Emit Selftiming - Quick Start

Congratulations on purchasing Emit selftiming station!
  • Go to https://selftiming.com and create an account or log in with your existing account
  • Click on 'My Events' and then on 'Create Event'
  • When creating the event: In the Reading Station (ID) field, type the drive ID printed on the back of your drive (for example, NO0055)
  • Register classes and course definitions for the event.
  • Turn on the selftiming drive by plugging it in with the included micro-USB connector. The drive can also be run by a power bank
  • The drive needs an Internet connection to function.
    • Connect to the internet by inserting an Ethernet cable into the network connector on the drive.
    • Connect to the internet via Wifi: Tap on the settings symbol in the lower right corner and tap on«Scan for network» Select the correct network and press'Set up',provide security type information and enter wifi password. Tap on'Set Up'again.
    • You can also connect to the internet with a 4G/LTE USB modem. Insert a USB HiLink modem into one of the USB slots, and the drive connects to the internet. Recommended modem is Huawei E3372h
  • Once the station is connected to the internet (green sign in the lower right corner) you start reading by the participants. Hold the chip against the ECU or USB reader, and the results will appear on the screen.
