New, improved version of Emit's control unit, with faster and safer communication with eCards. Compatible with all versions of the eCard, but not with emiTags.
ePost forwards punching data via the internal radio, which means you can combine ePost with eLink and get online split times in orienteering races using eCards.
The ePost units are delivered with codes from 31-176, with the exception of 66, 68, 86, 89, 98 and 99. In addition, codes from 177 to 235 can be delivered. As part of the integrated backup system, the records are equipped with a spike that makes a mark in the stamping patch on the back of the chip. 140 spike positions are available. The backup system makes it possible to manually check whether a runner has stamped on a post. The post unit has a built-in battery with an estimated lifespan of 8-10 years, but it is not recommended to use units older than 5 years in championships. The device does not need to be programmed or charged before use.
